MARIETTA, Ohio (WTAP) - Jeremiah’s Coffee House is scheduled to hold three open mic events for local young musicians during the summer. The events will take place on June 13, July 11, and 8, from 12 P.M. to 4 P.M.

They will take place during Marietta’s Second Sundays, a three-month, summer series similar to First Fridays, in which a range of family-friendly events and activities will be hosted downtown.

Musicians between the ages of 13 and 18 are welcome to take part and will be given fifteen minutes each to perform. Participants are asked to sign up when they arrive and are encouraged to bring their friends.

In addition to its open mic series, the coffee house is holding a live music series throughout the summer, as well. Upcoming performers include Evan Cunningham, Jack Comeau, and more.

Additional information about the open mics can be found on Facebook.
