Ryan came to WTAP in June of 2019 first as the Digital Producer, and has now moved to Sports Director in June of 2021.
He comes to us from Columbia, Maryland, which is right in-between Baltimore and Washington D.C.
He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2019 with a degree in Multimedia Journalism, with a focus on Sports Media and Analytics.
He has followed sports all his life, and roots for his Hokies, plus the D.C. teams like Washington Football, the Nationals, the Wizards, and the Capitals.
In his free time he likes to watch sports, and play golf, and travel.
He also loves hanging out with his fiancee and their dog, Marshmallow.
